"I love nothing more than handbags and shoes and finally I have a justification for what turned out to be a life saving passion. In October I was hit whilst crossing the street by a New York City taxi cab. My fashion sense which had been a constant source of contention with my boyfriends and partents actually saved my life.

If it wasn't for your Suzie Kondi bad which was secured firmly on the right side of my body and for the fact that the bag was cleverly constructed out of wood and leather, my doctor tells me that my ribs would have been broken, opening up my lungs and liver to possible irreparable damage. As as professional singer/songwriter, damage to my organs would cost me the ability to sing.

So to all those boyfriends and husbands who say handags are frivoious, and often over period pruschased. I am living proof that handbags save lives"
